A margarita made with ... Mountain Dew? It’s coming to Red Lobster

Maybe you love margaritas. Or perhaps you’ve been known to put away a can of Mountain Dew every now and then.

Either way, Red Lobster has some very good news. The restaurant chain is rolling out a new cocktail: a margarita made with Mountain Dew, according to a Tuesday news release.

The Dew Garita is the first official Mountain Dew cocktail. Made with a secret recipe, the concoction was born out of a partnership between Red Lobster and PepsiCo.

“Red Lobster is thrilled to work with PepsiCo, not only because it has a great portfolio of brands, but specifically because of the food and beverage innovation possibilities,” said Nelson Griffin, senior vice president and chief supply chain officer at Red Lobster. “The Dew Garita is the first delicious taste of the types of inspired menu items to come.”

Red Lobster says the refreshing beverage is the perfect pairing for its iconic cheddar biscuits.

So when can you try it?

The Dew Garita will hit select restaurants this month and be available nationwide by the end of the year.

Red Lobster will also be serving other Pepsi beverages including Mountain Dew, Pepsi and Stubborn craft sodas along with Bubly sparkling water, Lifewtr and Tropicana.
