Barbie is a true blockbuster and Margot Robbie reportedly has the paycheck to prove it!

According to Variety, the actor is set to earn an eye-popping $50 million for her dual roles as star and producer of the over-a-billion-dollar earning film. That’s gonna buy her several many Barbie Dream Houses.

Not only did Robbie embody the film’s eponymous magenta-adorned hero, but she also produced the film through her company LuckyChap Entertainment, which she co-founded with her husband, Tom Ackerley, and friends Josey McNamara and Sophia Kerr. Robbie created the company with the mission of bringing woman-created films to the fore. We think you can say she has been incredibly successful in that endeavor, not just with Barbie but with the Oscar-nominated Promising Young Woman, which scored Best Original Screenplay at the 93rd Academy Awards and was also nominated for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actress (Carrie Mulligan), and Best Film Editing. The production company also released the Birds of Prey and the critically lauded Netflix series Maid.

Barbie continues to be a box office juggernaut and has currently raked in $526.3 million at the domestic box office and a whopping $1.18 billion globally, making it the second highest-grossing release in the history of Warner Bros., behind Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2, according to Variety. It’s also continuing to make history as the highest-grossing film ever helmed by a woman director, beating out the previous record holder Jennifer Lee who directed Frozen II.

Barbie shows no signs of slowing down, even with its absurd critics blasting its feminist messages and making fools of themselves generally. Thankfully the vast, vast, vast majority of the audience is delighted by its accessible empowering messages, delightful pink hues, instantly iconic musical numbers, and innate queerness. We love to see it.
