Legendary fashion house and the creator of the iconic No.5 scent, Chanel, have announced Margot Robbie as their new fragrance ambassador.

Robbie has been a fashion ambassador for the brand since 2018 but is now taking over as the newest face of their perfume empire, joining the likes of Keira Knightley and Kristen Stewart.

Fronting the new campaign for the Chanel Gabrielle Chanel Essence scent, Robbie looks radiant as she wafts through golden and blush tulle reminiscent of the honey-hued perfume bottle to the tune of Beyoncé's 'Halo'.

With her signature blonde hair styled in a chic bun and dressed in a classic beaded white Chanel dress, we can't imagine a better face for the romantic perfume campaign.

There's no denying that the 28-year-old Mary Queen Of Scots star is a permanent style crush of ours. Remember when she wore two Chanel dresses in one hour while promoting the film? Outfit goals.

As a longtime red carpet fan of the French fashion house, it comes as no surprise to us that the Australian actress is the new face of their iconic fragrances.

Having been a fashion muse of the late Karl Lagerfeld, and the last brand ambassador picked by the legendary designer, it seems fitting that Robbie should become Chanel's latest perfume ambassador.

In fact, the two previously bonded over their love of pets, with Margot posting a sketch that Lagerfeld had drawn of his cat, Choupette and her own rescue dog, Boo, after the announcement of Karl’s death earlier in the year.

In the post Margot wrote ‘A heavy heart today over the loss of a true icon. Karl's creativity, energy and tireless spirit knew no bounds. It was an honor to work with him and to watch him work. I will forever cherish those memories. My thoughts are with his family, friends and our Chanel family’.

The Oscar-nominated actress is starring in Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming film Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, alongside Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio being released in late July this summer.

Clearly 2019 is going to be Margot Robbie’s year. Bring on the Chanel gowns!
