Class is in session for Mariah Carey – and it’s sure to be full.

The five-time Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter has been tapped to teach a class on how to use the voice and an instrument.

The streaming teaching platform MasterClass announced Thursday that the “All I Want for Christmas” queen will allow its subscribers into her Butterfly Lounge mobile studio — her “musical sanctuary” — to learn firsthand how the voice can be used to write and produce the melodies, lyrics and instrumentation of a song.

“I’ve never let cameras in when I am creating — not when I’m writing, and especially not when I’m singing,” Carey said in a statement. “But now I’m taking MasterClass members into my studio to show them how they can write and produce music using their voice and become anything they want to be as long as they create, re-create, reimagine and reinvent.”

Considered “the voice” of her generation, the Long Island, New York, native has sold over 200 million records and delivered chart-topping hits such as “One Sweet Day,” “Fantasy” and “We Belong Together” since bursting onto the music scene with her 1990 self-titled debut.

Students of the online class will also be the first to witness the process of how Carey crafted the 1997 hit “The Roof” with Grammy-winning superstar Brandy.

The 53-year-old chart-topper shared a promo video of her coaching the “Moesha” star while working together in the studio on Instagram Thursday.

“I love creating music,” Carey said in the clip. “Having melodies run through me is an incredible feeling. I just hear what I hear and I sing it.”

“We talk about the power of your voice,” the former “American Idol” judge said. “There can be power in anything, from a whisper to a scream, literally. And then there’s the power of self-expression and I want to do this because this is what I’m feeling in my heart.”

The San Francisco-headquartered company said the members of the class will leave “inspired to find their own voice, whether that means advocating for their own creative desires or honing it as an instrument.”

“Mariah is simply a genius. She’s one of the greatest artists of all time,” MasterClass founder and CEO David Rogier said in a statement. “In her class, Mariah is ... teaching members how to use their voice throughout the music-making process, including in the studio and while navigating the industry.”

The class costs $180 for an annual membership for unlimited access to all 150+ instructors.

Launched in 2015, the MasterClass courses each feature about 20 video lessons, at an average of 10 minutes per lesson.

Fifteen-time Grammy Award winner Alicia Keys, Vogue magazine editor Anna Wintour, “American Gods” author Neil Gaiman, drag icon RuPaul, actor and host LeVar Burton, blockbuster filmmaker James Cameron and “Bridgerton” producer Shonda Rhimes and Grammy Award-winning hip-hop star Nas are just a few of the other boldfaced names the platform has attracted.
