Marianne Williamson isn't on the debate stage but reminded people she's still running

Author and activist Marianne Williamson isn't on the debate stage tonight, but she's still running for president and is reminding voters of her presence.

"No, they’re not the only Democratic candidates for President of the United States," she tweeted as the debate started.

In response to a Twitter user who said the candidates on stage were the only ones with enough support to actually be there, Williamson said the polling thresholds to get on stage were a flawed metric.

"The polls are not the only - or even the best - indication of size of following. If they don’t poll your supporters, how would they know? The polling process is deeply flawed," she wrote.

Before the debate, Williamson's campaign sent an email to supporters asking them to tune into the debate and to a livestream after the debate, where she was going to give remarks in Encinitas, Calif.

Williamson did not qualify for this debate or the preceding one, and it appears she will not meet the polling and donation thresholds for the November debate.
