Maricopa County Tally Shows Democrats Lead Races for Senate and Governor

Unofficial midterm election results from Maricopa County, Arizona, showed Democrats Mark Kelly and Katie Hobbs leading the state’s US Senate and gubernatorial races, respectively, on Wednesday evening, November 9.

The county posted the latest results on their website, noting that the counts published were not final.

On Thursday morning, preliminary statewide results showed incumbent Sen Mark Kelly leading the race against Republican Blake Masters and Libertarian Marc Victor, according to the Associated Press, and Democrat Katie Hobbs was leading over Republican Kari Lake in the governor’s race.

Counting continues in Arizona.
