Oct. 11—The Marietta Board of Education meets Tuesday at 6 p.m. for a work session.

Topics on the board's agenda for discussion include adding contact tracing support, not to exceed $250,000; approving the 2021-22 school board training schedule and extending the district's virtual school offering for middle and high school families who prefer it through the end of the 2021-22 school year.

Though the board may vote to approve items, topics discussed during the work session are usually placed on the agenda for final approval at the board's regular meeting the following week.

The board will meet for its work session at 6 p.m. on Tuesday at the district central office at 250 Howard St., Marietta. The regular meeting will be held there at 6 p.m. on Oct. 19.
