Marion County caregiver accused of stealing over $10K from client, deputies say

MARION COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A 66-year-old Marion County woman who was a private duty caregiver has been accused of stealing over $10,400 from her client, according to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.

Alice Brown Perry was arrested February 23 and charged with financial transaction card theft, financial transaction card fraud more than $500 in a six-month period, federally chartered or insured financial institution crime, and grand larceny value more than $10,000.

Perry has been released from the Marion County Detention Center.
