Marion County high school schedule: Volleyball, swimming, cross country, golf, bowling playoffs
We have high school teams on deep playoff runs in Marion County. Three volleyball teams have reached regional finals, two bowlers are competing in Orlando at states, cross country teams go north to compete in the state meet in Tallahassee, and state swimming is this weekend in Stuart.
We're tracking the latest results from every high school in the Ocala area. Come back every afternoon to see how our area teams perform in the postseason.
Dates may change depending on the outcome of games on Tuesday and Wednesday. More games will be added throughout the week.

Trinity Catholic defeats Trinity Christian (25-18, 25-16, 25-13)
Trinity Catholic earns a regional title as they head to the final four. Its the Celtics fifth straight final four appearance.

Orangewood Christian defeats St. John Lutheran (25-18, 25-22, 25-19)
St. John falls to Orangewood Christian for the second time this season. This marks the end of their season. Congratulations to seniors Saylor Spears and Sara Reese on a deep playoff run.

CC Kinchen placed 41st in the state with an over score of 740 through four games. She shot a game high 255 in game four.
Madison Rogers placed 124th with an overall score of 545. Her match high 159 came in the first game.
Girls Golf
Tuesday, Nov. 1
3A Region 1 Championship at Cypress Head Golf Club
Forest placed fifth our of 12 teams in the regional tournament. The Wildcats recorded their best team score of the season but just came up short of a state finals berth. Sophomore Haley Davis and senior Megan Griggs qualify as individual state participants. Davis shot a 68 and Griggs shot 71 which put both golfers under par.

3A Region 1 Championship at Cypress Head Golf Club
Forest placed 12th at Monday's regional final. Xavier Sahajpal finished 28th overall, shooting an 80. Fellow Wildcat Taylor Galavis shot an 84.

Forest defeats Lake Weir 1-1
The Wildcats and Hurricanes start the season with a split. Forest won the traditional branch 85-31 and Lake Weir claimed the Olympic 43-23.
