Marion County Sheriff's Office seek help to identify hit-and-run driver

The Marion County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to find a driver who hit a 70-year-old female bicyclist on Saturday.

Around 10:15 a.m., a 911 caller reported a bicyclist was struck by a car at the intersection of Howell Prairie Road NE and Hazelgreen Road NE, according to police. Witnesses described the car as a cherry red hatchback.

The car fled the scene. The woman was taken to a local hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
