Marjaree Mason Center breaks ground on $21M Fresno center

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The Marjaree Mason Center officials say they have broken ground on their newest campus on Wednesday in Fresno.

The new campus will be named the Isnardi Foundation Community Resource Center.

Majaree Mason Center officials say the new center will reside in a 37,680-square-foot building that will double the current physical service capacity for all non-residential services for survivors of domestic violence in Fresno County.

These services will include a 24/7 crisis response hotline and drop-in center, mental health
services for adults and children, and a dedicated children’s enrichment center. It will also have an art therapy room, housing and job support, legal advocacy, speech and behavioral therapy room, health clinic, group therapy spaces, and a large 100-seat training room.

According to Majaree Mason Center officials, the total cost of the project is $21 million, including both the acquisition of the building and remodeling. It is set to open in December 2024.
