Republican Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who often says bigoted and controversial things when she’s in the spotlight, has gone viral because of her support, in a sense, for President Joe Biden’s accomplishments in office to date.

Though unlikely meaning to, Greene heaped praise on Biden during a speech at the far-right Turning Point Action Conference in Florida. Her comments were so positive that Biden’s 2024 presidential campaign used her words in an ad viewed more than 33 million times by mid-afternoon Wednesday in less than 24 hours of being posted.

In her speech over the weekend, Greene, a staunch Donald Trump supporter, criticized the president’s “socialist” policies.

According to the congresswoman, Biden was working to expand the “New Deal” and “Great Society” policies launched under former Presidents Franklin Delano Roosevelt and Lyndon B. Johnson. According to Greene, Biden is attempting to “complete” these projects.

On Tuesday, an ad posted to Biden’s Twitter account clipped Greene’s words and used them as a sales pitch for his 2024 campaign, along with the statement, “I endorse this message.”

The video was posted shortly after 6 p.m.; by 10 a.m., it had been viewed more than 26 million times.

“Joe Biden had the largest public investment in social infrastructure and environmental programs,” Green says in the ad over clips of Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris smiling and confident. “That is actually finishing what FDR started, that LBJ expanded on and Joe Biden is attempting to complete.”

Over cheerful music, Greene continues, “Programs to address education, medical care, urban problems, rural poverty, transportation, Medicare, Medicaid, labor unions, and he still is working on it.”

The video cuts to the Biden/Harris campaign logo.

Reaction to the clever use of the far-right Republican’s words was bountiful.

Gay California Rep. Robert Garcia tweeted, “I CANNOT,” with three skull and bone emojis.

Former U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Alabama and current MSNBC legal analyst Joyce Vance wrote on Twitter, “I’m going to confess. I can’t stop watching this. It makes me happy.”

TJ Ducklo, a Biden campaign political adviser, made an apt comparison.

“20m views in less than 12 hours. Wonder how many people watched other campaign ‘content’ yesterday on CNN at 4pm or on Fox News at 9pm? I’m *betting* it was slightly less than 20 million,” he wrote.

Actor Mark Hammill retweeted the video with the hashtag, “#GoDarkBrando[n].”
