Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene carried a white balloon around her congressional office building ahead of the State of the Union address on February 7, in a nod to the Chinese surveillance balloon shot down by the US military at the weekend.

Greene, who represents Georgia’s 14th congressional district, posted video to Twitter with the caption “It’s just an innocent balloon.”

Speaking to RSBN, Taylor Greene said: “President Biden isn’t afraid of balloons, he allowed China to traverse the United States with a Chinese spy balloon, gather intel from all of our military bases, our food factories, our cities, our critical infrastructure, send it back to China, before shooting it down on February 4.” Credit: Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene via Storyful
