Mark Hoppus is thankful for all the small things.

The Blink-182 bassist, who announced in September that he was in remission from stage 4 diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, is blessed to be in Italy with his wife to celebrate the wedding of bandmate Travis Barker to Kourtney Kardashian, he said Saturday.

“A year ago I was in chemotherapy,” he wrote in an Instagram story. “Today I’m here. Grateful.”

Along with the inspirational message was a photo of the happy couple, Hoppus, 50, in a black polo shirt and slacks and wife Skye, 49, in a green suit and black crop top.

The Grammy-nominated musician announced his diagnosis in June, revealing that he had spent the past three months in chemotherapy.

“It sucks and I’m scared, and at the same time I’m blessed with incredible doctors and family and friends to get me through this,” he wrote in a statement at the time.

“I still have months of treatment ahead of me but I’m trying to remain hopeful and positive. Can’t wait to be cancer free and see you all at a concert in the near future. Love to you all.”

In September, he announced that he was cancer-free after getting the all-clear from his oncologist.

“Thank you God and universe and family and friends and everyone who sent support and kindness and love,” he wrote. “Still have to get scanned every six months and it’ll take me until the end of the year to get back to normal but today is an amazing day and I feel so blessed.”

Now, he and Skye are on a getaway vacation for the reality show wedding of the year.

Hoppus and Barker founded Blink-182, alongside singer Matt Skiba, in California in 1992 and have sold more than 50 million copies worldwide.
