A new-to-market, upscale Mexican restaurant concept is headed to the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin, with plans to open in February.

Jim Dunn, the CEO of New York-based Rosa Mexicano Restaurants, told Orlando Business Journal a licensing agreement has been struck with New York-based Tishman Hotel, which owns the Swan and Dolphin, and Marriott, which manages the resort, to bring the restaurant’s first Florida location to Orlando.

Rosa Mexicano dates back to 1984 when it first opened on New York City’s Upper East Side. It now has locations in New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, New Jersey and Maryland, with more in the pipeline in Connecticut, Virginia, North Carolina and Las Vegas.
