Oscar-winning actress Marlee Matlin is headlining Naz Weekend at Nazareth University.

Matlin, who is deaf, is known for her ground-breaking acting roles and for her advocacy of diversity and inclusion for all. She will deliver the keynote address during Naz Weekend, which welcomes Nazareth University students, their families, alumni and the community to the campus for various events.

Matlin's event begins at 3 p.m. Sept. 23 and will take place in the Nazareth University Arts Center, Callahan Theater, 4245 East Avenue, Rochester.

Tickets to see Matlin on Naz Weekend are available for purchase online at the Nazareth University Box Office website or by calling 585-389-2170.

According to Nazareth University, Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing people can ask for preferred seating that is close to the ASL interpreter. Email boxoffice@naz.eu for information on those seats.

Students can buy one $10 ticket with their Nazareth email addresses, which grants access to the value seating section.

Full-price tickets range between $20 and $50 per seat. They can be printed prior to attending. (Check with the box office website or call to review any added fees.)
