All-Marmonte League selections for the 2021 fall sports season

Running back Delon Thompson of league champion St. Bonaventure was named the Most Valuable Player of the All-Marmonte League football team.

Johnny Thompson of Oaks Christian was the Offensive Back of the Year, Cody Hoffman of St. Bonaventure was the Wide Receiver of the Year, and Sean Na'a of Westlake and Luke Barlenko of Oaks Christian were the co-Offensive Linemen of the Year.

Sterling Lane of Oaks Christian was named the Defensive Lineman of the Year and Ben Hall of St. Bonaventure was the Linebacker of the Year. Jalen Lewis of Oaks Christian was the Defensive Back of the Year, and kicker Aidan Flintoft of Oaks Christian was the Special Teams Player of the Year.

Named to the first-team offensive line were Gage Dutcher of Oaks Christian; Joel Ibarra and Kayden Brewer of St. Bonaventure; Ethan Curtis of Westlake; and Nolan Wilson of Calabasas.

Named first-team offensive backs were King Miller of Calabasas; Manny Rosales of St. Bonaventure; Cole Tannenbaum of Oaks Christian; and Jacob Poley of Westlake.

Named first-team wide receivers were Kahari Butler and Justice Williams of Oaks Christian; Cole Janowicz and Mateo Siderman of Westlake; and Joaquin Johnson of St. Bonaventure.

Leilani Armenta of St. Bonaventure was named the top kicker. Matt Erhart of Oaks Christian and Domata Peko Jr. were named top offensive utility players.

Named to the first-team defensive line were Damian Reyes and Lorenzo Avila of St. Bonaventure; Mathias Donaldson of Oaks Christian; and Kaylon Miller of Calabasas.

Named first-team linebackers were Bennett Grace and Torence Liufau of Westlake; Joseph Marsh of Oaks Christian; and Jared Barlow of St. Bonaventure.

Named first-team defensive backs were Da'Marrie Smith of Westlake; Elijah Gibson of Oaks Christian; Steven Rauso of Calabasas; and Frank Tinoco II and Nicholas Miller of St. Bonaventure.

Nathan Alexander of Westlake was named the top punter. Isaac Thorpe of St. Bonaventure and Gabe Ramirez and Cameron Davis of Westlake were named top defensive utility players.

BOYS CROSS COUNTRY

Colin Sahlman, who won the CIF-SS Division 1 and state individual titles while helping Newbury Park win CIF-SS and state team titles, earned Runner of the Year honors.

Making the first team were Lex Young, Leo Young, Aaron Sahlman, Daniel Appleford and Hector Martinez of Newbury Park; Atticus Hall of Thousand Oaks; KC Barber, Ben Hefner and James Sutton of Westlake; and Christopher Pellettiere of Oaks Christian.

Making the second team were Tyson Carew, Darrick Jacob, Ethan Godsey, Dan Barreto, JP Glynn and Devin Benning of Agoura; Charlie Ellis, Liam Papavasiliou and Isaack Garcia of Thousand Oaks; and Richard Hoffman of Westlake.

GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY

Newbury Park's Sam McDonnell, who the CIF-SS Division 1 individual title and finished second in the state meet, earned Runner of the Year honors.

Earning first-team honors were Tiffany Sax, Ailish Hawkins, Morgan Nygren, Danielle Brotcke and Lexi Darley of Newbury Park; Georgia McCorkle of Agoura; Payton Godsey, Grace Geyer and Sarah Colebrooke of Oaks Christian; and Laura Castagna of Westlake.

Earning second-team honors were Kalista Traversa, Ava Basile, Michelle Navarro and Alyssa Wood of Westlake; Gianna Sanchez and Elyse Grant of Oaks Christian; Madeline Cooper, Matilda Fitzgerald and Ivy Williams of Thousand Oaks; and Paloma Padilla-Kastenberg of Agoura.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

Kayla Murdhoch of Thousand Oaks was named the league MVP and Julie Bennett of league champion Oaks Christian was named the Coach of the Year.

Named to the first team were Kayleigh May of Thousand Oaks; Kaile Yung of Westlake; Laurel Barsocchini of Agoura; Addison Benson and Kalyna Lewus of Newbury Park; and Mika Josue, Lucia Scalamandre and Nicole Zake of Oaks Christian.

Named to the second team were Hannah Messinger of Agoura; Sydney Luchs of Calabasas; Cashe Olswang of Westlake; Mia Paculan of Thousand Oaks; Brooke MacFayden and Emma Schuetz of Newbury Park; and Hannah Brady and Manaia Ogbechie of Oaks Christian.

Catherine Rao of league champion Oaks Christian, who finished third in the state tournament, earned MVP honors.

Earning first-team honors were Sunny Wang, Johanna Nio and Ava Aye of Oaks Christian; Jennifer Liu and Payton Morris of Westlake; Charlotte Sams of Newbury Park; and Lillian Spratt of Agoura.

Earning second-team honors were Asha Patel, Sadie Johnson and Hailey Katofsky of Calabasas; Grace Williams of Thousand Oaks; and Aria Sengupta of Newbury Park.

GIRLS TENNIS

Ariana Liu who helped Westlake win league, CIF-SS and state regional titles, earned MVP honors.

Earning first-team singles honors were Megan Sun of Westlake; Kathleen Shiffer and Ellina Ivanova of Calabasas; Roxana Nourishad and Emmy Lagree of Oaks Christian; and Ella Gates of Agoura.

Earning first-team doubles honors were Essence Wang, Rachel Sherrill, Abigail Flamer and Kaylynn Winter of Westlake; and Ellen Kozlov, Katerina Bencova, Sydney Smith and Nava Aminia of Calabasas.

Earning second-team singles honors were Nandini Patro and Ava Zaslov of Newbury Park; Sophia Tyoran of Westlake; Sofia Serrao of Oaks Christian; and Andrea Balcan of Thousand Oaks.

Earning second-team doubles honors were Sheng-zhu Kong, Morgan Gillio, Kai Tanger and Maya Marcinko of Oaks Christian; Rose Wang and Sofia Olin of Thousand Oaks; Elizabeth Benson, Anna Li, Rachel Hu and Grace Pei of Newbury Park; and Karina Jedrzejek and Danica Jedrzejek of Westlake.

BOYS WATER POLO

Tom Leggett of league champion and CIF-SS finalist Oaks Christian was named the MVP and Bryce Biglin of Westlake and Nehemiah Pavoggi of Oaks Christian shared Goalie of the Year honors.

Named to the first team were Franco Scalamandre of Oak Christian; Chase Martsoff and Scott Wagner of Westlake; Liam Escusa of Agoura; and Tobey Chow of Newbury Park.

Named to the second team were Michael Soybel and Josh Kim of Oaks Christian; Joshua Brown and Tim Shen of Westlake; Grayson Ing of Newbury Park; Kasey Tarbet of Agoura; and Alec Koshkarian of Calabasas.
