Married At First Sight star shares details of terrifying hand injury
Married At First Sight Australia star Ryan Gallagher has shared details and images of a bloody hand injury that he has sustained, as well as his recovery.
The reality star, who appeared on the fifth season of the social experiment show in 2018, is now engaged to Olympic swimmer Emily Seebohm, who he met on Australian show The Challenge.
In an Instagram post (which contains graphic images), Gallagher has thanked Seebohm for helping him to recover after a "fight with an angle grinder" – and shared some gory snaps of his injury.
While the first picture on his post shows Gallagher relaxing with a full length arm cast and his baby son Sampson on a sofa, the following slides detail his injury, with his hand pictured covered in blood.

After thanking staff at the hospital where he was treated, Gallagher wrote, "I had a fight with an angle grinder working on one of my cars..."
He added that the grinder "got both my hands," and that he had to have his "tendons and index finger put back together in my left hand and tip of my rude finger re attached and half my finger nail put back in place."
He then joked that baby Sampson "now wipes my bum."

Continuing, Gallagher said, "Emily is a power house and I'm thankful for her and her family taking on what I can't do for Sampson for a little while."
Gallagher, who briefly dated Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby in 2020, welcomed his first child with his fiancée in September 2023.
They announced the pregnancy with a tongue-in-cheek video, referring to him as a "little bump in the road".
He's not the only MAFS star to be expanding his family; Drew Brauer has announced that he is expecting his first child with his girlfriend, Samantha Clark.
