Marriott's Moxy hotel and rooftop bar coming to Downtown. Here's what it will look like
Cincinnati's first Moxy hotel will open in Downtown next year.
Moxy Downton Cincinnati and Observerie Rooftop Bar will open at 312 Main St. in 2024, combining three preexisting buildings and a newly built seven-story hotel tower, a press release said. Columbus is currently home to the only Ohio Moxy hotel, a brand owned by Marriott International, Inc.

The hotel will include 111 guestrooms, a multi-use coffee shop/lobby bar, outdoor courtyard, gym and rooftop bar. According to the release, the design will feature "modern Bavarian" touches as a nod to Cincinnati's German heritage.
Downtown Cincinnati-based Rolling Hills Hospitality is working on the development with City Studios Architecture, HiFive Development Services in Mason, Ohio, and the Society, a hotel design firm based in Seattle.
"Developing the Moxy is more about a mentality and attitude for our team than anything else," Bimal Patel, president of Rolling Hills Hospitality, said in the release. "Across the industry, we see a desperate need for change in the design landscape for hospitality. We believe this development, along with the Moxy brand spirit, will shift the paradigm of what a hotel can be. We are thrilled to have a place that travelers and locals alike will relish during their time in Downtown Cincinnati.”
