The fans have spoken.

The winner of the latest Enquirer Athlete of the Week fan poll is Camille DeCola of the Marshall girls cross country team.

Fans got behind DeCola to help her edge fellow Athletes of the Week finalists Hung Ling, Ramsey Bousseau and Jordan Eckman. DeCola received 54% of the vote by the 5 p.m. Wednesday deadline. Thanks to her fans, she will receive an Enquirer Athlete of the Week T-shirt.

The Marshall girls dominated the competition to win the annual Barney Roy Invitational as the Redhawks took three of the top four places. DeCola was the overall champion in a time of 19:56, as she won her second invitational of the young season.

"Camille is off to a great start this season," Marshall cross country coach Steve Wissink said. "She ran 1:20 faster this year than last year at Barney Roy, and she ended up 14th in the state, so we're excited to see what she can do."
