Martha Stewart is showing off her "great" skin — and shutting down those who question how she got it.

On Sunday the 81-year-old entertaining expert whipped out her camera to snap a few selfies during her hair appointment, crediting her good looks to a "mostly dry January" and Pilates workouts.

"Skin looking good after a mostly dry January and Pilates every other day," Stewart said of the flattering photos, noting that they involved "absolutely no re-imaging."

Stewart's post garnered numerous compliments, with one admirer commenting, "Thirst trap Martha is my favorite Martha." Another fan called the kitchen queen "one hot momma."

But the post also drew criticism from those who accused Stewart of creating unrealistic expectations of what aging looks like, particularly for those without her financial resources. "No one who is 81 can look like this without a lot of money on filler, Botox etc.," wrote one commenter. "It’s not normal."

"Do better Martha," another commenter chastised the star. "Our young girls deserve more from us! You set the expectations and examples of what women should look like as they age. This is both dangerous and damaging to our youth. This is not natural beauty at 81 years of age. Grow up! It’s oddly disturbing at your age to portray this. Women stop objectifying yourself and making sexy lips and faces thinking it’s normal. This behavior is for the bedroom, not social media."

Seemingly in response to that feedback, Stewart went on to post another series of "unfiltered" selfies from the salon, insisting that her smooth skin wasn't the result of a face lift, as some had suggested. Instead, she said it was due to having "great [dermatologists] my whole life," plus diet, exercise and "amazing facials" from Mario Badescu.

"These are the other three selfies I took," she captioned the second post. "My expression was better in the first one but my skin looks great in all of them. Unfiltered. No face lift. Great derms my whole life. Currently Dr. Daniel Belkin and Dr. Dhaval Bhanusali. Great diet. Great exercise and did I mention amazing facials @mariobadescu for the last 40 years!"

Speaking to Yahoo Life's Unapologetically series earlier this month, Stewart stressed the importance of maintaining a "healthy lifestyle" and staying active rather than slowing down as a woman in her 80s.

"It's about being aware of things around you and leading a good healthy life," she shared. "And, going to Pilates at 6:30 in the morning, which I did this morning. I try to go to Pilates as many times a week as I possibly can."

Noting that she doesn't "ever think about retiring," the TV personality made it clear that she doesn't let her standards slip and refuses to start acting like a "little old lady."

"I'm not going to start living badly just because I'm getting older," she told Yahoo Life. "Once you've lived well, you always should live well."
