How to Make Martha Stewart's Tarragon Shrimp Scampi

In this video, Martha Stewart teaches you how to make tarragon shrimp scampi, a dish in which immigrant cooks adapted classic Italian techniques to include American ingredients. Typically shrimp scampi is made with jumbo shrimp, prepared with olive oil, garlic and parsley. Martha’s recipe swaps out the parsley for tons of tarragon, a French herb known for its anise-like flavor. Combine your shrimp with olive oil, garlic, grated yellow onions and tarragon leaves and lightly cook in the oven. This tarragon shrimp scampi is delicious served hot out of the oven with a lemon wedge. This is the Martha Stewart’s cooking school series, where Martha teaches the home cook her favorite culinary basics and techniques.
