The Martins perform at Northside Baptist in Elkhart

ELKHART — The Southern Gospel group The Martins perform at 6 p.m. May 7 at Northside Baptist Church, 53198 County Road 9.

The Martins — siblings, Judy, Jonathan and Joyce Martin — grew up in rural Hamburg, Ark., and, since beginning their career in the 1990s, have gone on to perform at The Grand Ole Opry, The White House and concert halls, auditoriums and churches nationwide.

After nearly a decade of pursuing individual music careers, the trio reunited in 2010 and released their first new recording in 10 years, “New Day.”

In 2014, the trio released “A Cappella” and followed that in 2018 with their latest album, “Still Standing.”

During their career, The Martins have won eight Dove Awards from the Gospel Music Association, received three Grammy Award nominations and charted multiple hit songs.
