Jeremy Renner is coming back to Disney+ — but he's not reprising his Hawkeye role for a Marvel Cinematic Universe project this time around.

The actor actually has a new DIY reality show coming out, with the (brilliantly titled) Rennervations. The series sees Renner rescue some decommissioned government public-service vehicles from the scrap heap, and give them a new lease of life working for people who really need them.

Disney+ has revealed the series will be dropping all four episodes on Wednesday, April 12. The House of Mouse also released a trailer showing us what we can expect, which you can check out above.

In the clips, we see Renner, his team and his fleet of vehicles travel across the world, with one turned into a mobile recreation centre and another used to provide people with purified water. Celebrity friends like Captain America: The Winter Soldier star Anthony Mackie and High School Musical's Vanessa Hudgens join in the fun.

"I hope this demonstrates how easy it is to make a giant difference in other people's lives," he says in the trailer.

In a new statement about the show, Renner referred to his recent snowplough accident that left him in the hospital with multiple broken bones and needing surgery.

"I’ve been on this journey for many years, and I started in my community by building vehicles for people in need," Renner's statement read. "But a few years ago, I thought, how can I plus this up and create a bigger impact on a whole community — and that’s what this show does.

"This is one of my biggest passions and it’s a driving force in my recovery, and I can’t wait for the world to see it."

Rennervations will release on Disney+ on April 12.
