Though some have suggested President Donald Trump, who lost reelection last week, is already planning a 2024 run, his niece said Thursday she thinks it's unlikely, simply because he can't stand the thought of losing again.

The comments came during an appearance on CNN's Cuomo Prime Time Thursday, the latest in a spate of interviews Mary Trump has given as the president continues to fight the results of the election, which was called for Biden last week.

"In my family ... the worst thing you could be was a loser," Mary said on CNN. "Being a loser made you weak, being a loser made you unworthy ... for the first time in his life, Donald is in a situation he cannot get out of."

Mary added that she suspects her uncle is in a state of "terror, rage and helplessness," due to his loss.

The president has alleged "fraud" and claimed that the election was "stolen" since it was announced that Democrat Joe Biden was projected as the winner of the race, but his allegations remain unfounded. The president has continued to push the narrative without providing evidence of widespread voter fraud.

Privately, though, the president might understand that he will be leaving office in January, as recent reports suggest that he's contemplating launching a digital media network at that time, or even launching a presidential bid for 2024.

His niece, however, doesn't buy it.

"No," she said of the suggestion he would run again. "I think that was floated initially as a way to appease him and assuage his ego. But he will never put himself in a position where he can lose like this again, first of all. Secondly, it would mean for four years that he is playing essentially a supporting role which will be very difficult for him to sustain."

"And most importantly, in four years, he will be the same age that Joe Biden is now. However, Donald is a very unhealthy person — he has a terrible diet, he doesn't exercise and he has psychological disorders that continue to go untreated," she continued. "So, I don't even imagine that he will be able to run again in four years."

Mary, a psychologist, has written in the past about the psychology that she believes governs Trump's decision-making.

Her memoir, published in July, contained a litany of claims about Trump's past, many of which were disputed by the White House.

In an op-ed published by The Guardian over the weekend, Mary called Trump's election-night speech — in which he claimed he had won the election despite no official projections and as millions of votes continued to be counted — "deeply dangerous," hypothesizing that her uncle would likely never concede.

"This is what Donald’s going to do: he’s not going to concede, although who cares," she wrote. "What’s worse is he’s not going to engage in the normal activities that guarantee a peaceful transition. All he’s got now is breaking stuff, and he’s going to do that with a vengeance."
