Maryland Boxer Heading to California To Train With Boxers Heading To Olympics

VIC CARTER: With less than 100 days until the Summer Olympics, US athletes are kicking training into high gear.

RICK RITTER: A local boxing champion helping to train fighters that are heading to Tokyo. So meet 18-year-old Jahmal Harvey. He's heading to California this week to help with training camp after winning a spot on the US elite team.

VIC CARTER: The group will train three times a day, with a mixture of cardio, strength and conditioning, and sparring. Harvey says this opportunity means a lot to him, knowing he's helping Team USA potentially win a medal.
