Maryland COVID-19 state of emergency will be lifted July 1

Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan on Tuesday announced the end of the COVID-19 state of emergency. As of July 1, any and all emergency mandates and restrictions of any kind will end. The governor announced that July 1 will begin a 45-day grace period through Aug. 15 when certain regulations will continue to be relaxed to complete the transition out of the pandemic.
