Maryland Food Bank begins its Pantry on the Go program

The Maryland Food Bank is expanding its mission to feed hungry Marylanders with its Pantry on the Go program. The program sends food trucks to locations throughout the state, helping roughly 1 million Marylanders who have become food insecure since the start of the pandemic. The rumbling turn of the tractor-trailer into an Edgemere church parking lot brought hope to grumbling bellies waiting in a line of cars outside. Volunteers wasted no time or food, preparing boxes for their Pantry on the Go.
