Maryland General Assembly Considering Several Bills To Make Voting Easier

- New at 7:00, several bills making their way to the General Assembly hope to make it much easier to vote. So one of these would increase the number of early voting sites statewide, while another would secure accessible voting for groups who have historically faced issues, like students, overseas military personnel, even senior communities. State lawmakers also working to ensure that the state keeps its ballot dropboxes. Now, of course, this comes as several other states work on passing new voting laws, like Georgia, where a new law imposes multiple restrictions on voters.
