Maryland Inmates Can Now Earn A Bachelor's Degree From Georgetown University

Georgetown University has announced a new program that will allow some Maryland prison inmates to earn bachelor's degrees.

- Georgetown University, they have a new program that will allow Maryland inmates to earn a bachelor's degree at the Georgetown Prisons and Justice Initiative-- will lead the five-year program that will choose the first 25 students for the program for the 2021 fall semester. Organizers hope to have at least 125 inmate graduates by the end of the program.
