Maryland jurisdictions to get funding from American Rescue Plan
Hundreds of millions of dollars are going to local governments in Maryland through the new American Rescue Plan. So the 11 News I-Team is tracking how the money is being spent. Nowhere is the amount so eye-popping as in Baltimore City, and key decisions now have to be made. Baltimore City Comptroller Bill Henry, a veteran of city politics, told the I-Team he can't remember a federal funding windfall like the one being delivered to the city now.
