Maryland leaders call second coronavirus stimulus 'absolute necessity' to maintain economic stability

Maryland has a message for the nation's leaders when it comes to another round of coronavirus stimulus relief: enough already, quit your fighting and do your job. Confusion is abound on Capitol Hill. First, President Donald Trump directed the treasury secretary to stop all negotiations over a second stimulus package. Then, hours later, he backtracked on that directive, tweeting late Tuesday night that the House should approve $25 billion for airline payroll support and $135 billion for the Paycheck Protection Program for small businesses.
