Maryland Lottery player scores big in Salisbury

A Salisbury player was one of several winners of Maryland Lottery prizes worth $50,000 or more in the latest announcement

The winning Power Spot Multiplier was sold at the Walmart on North Salisbury Boulevard, Maryland Lottery said in a release.

The week's big paydays came for scratch-off players in Lanham and Bel Air who claimed $5 million and $2 million in prizes respectively. A Multi-Match player in Elkridge hit a $680,000 jackpot, and three more players won six digit prizes on tickets purchased in Glen Burnie, Oakland and Takoma Park.

In all, the seven days ending March 19 produced 54 winning tickets worth $10,000 or more that were sold or redeemed across Maryland, and the Lottery paid more than $42 million in prizes during that span.

Winners of prizes larger than $25,000 must redeem their tickets at the Maryland Lottery Claims Center in Baltimore, which is open by appointment only. More information is available on the How To Claim page of mdlottery.com.
