- Music venues in Maryland are struggling financially as the pandemic continues. Between the vaccine rollout and COVID restrictions, the music venues are struggling to keep up.

So the National Independent Venue Association says independent venues were the first to close and will be the last to fully reopen. Larry Hogan announced plans to distribute $30 million to venues in the state, but they still depend on federal funding to get through the pandemic.
