Maryland Officials Highlight Office To Close Digital Divide

Maryland officials are highlighting a new Office of Statewide Broadband to help close the digital divide.

- It is a move to close the digital divide in Maryland both at state and local levels. The new office of statewide broadband was created in response to a new law recently signed by Governor Hogan. The office will be focused on a coordinated effort to connect residents all across the state to more high-speed, affordable broadband by 2026.
