Maryland Police Line Road as Body of Officer Killed on Duty Escorted to Home State

Officers from the Anne Arundel County Police Department lined the side of a road on May 2 in tribute to a Delaware officer, Cpl Keith Heacook, whose body was being returned to his home state after he died from injuries sustained while on duty.

According to a local report, Heacook’s body was being returned to Delaware from the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. He died on Wednesday, April 28, from injuries sustained in an incident on April 25.
