Maryland police: Man wanted out of Kentucky for murder arrested

BALTIMORE, Md. (DC News Now) — Maryland State Police assisted in an arrest of a man wanted out of Kentucky for killing a woman.

Tho Luong, 41, of Louisville, Ky. was wanted by the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) after he killed a woman who was found dead inside a residence in Louisville.

Montgomery Co. Public Schools official on administrative leave, school system says

Luong and his car were located at a motel in the 8000 block of Baltimore National Pike in Ellicott City. Maryland State Apprehension Team troopers assisted LMPD detectives in Luong’s arrest. He was taken into custody without incident.

He will be held at the Howard County Detention Center while he awaits extradition to Kentucky.
