Maryland State Police on alert to protect State House

Officials increased security in and around the Maryland State House after Wednesday's riot at the U.S. Capitol. Gov. Larry Hogan on Monday said additional security measures are in place at the State House as federal law enforcement are monitoring online threats of similar mob attacks on all 50 state capitols. Joining Hogan, Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam and D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser are urging people not to visit the District for the presidential inauguration.
