Maryland's reproductive number of coronavirus cases increases, officials say

We may have the first impact of Maryland's easing of coronavirus restrictions: an increase in the number that shows how contagious the virus is. According to a public health expert, the occurrence of cases in Maryland is no longer stable but growing as an apparent result of the move to stage two of reopening. Some states have imposed quarantines on visitors traveling from other states. Maryland officials said Wednesday they are not considering such measures.
