  1. The Philadelphia Health Department announced the city has moved into the CDC's “level one: all clear” COVID response level. Masks are no longer required for most indoor public spaces except for schools, healthcare centers, and public transportation. These changes will take place immediately. (WHYY)

  2. The Philadelphia Phillies' season will be delayed as the MLB lockout continues. The MLB and player's association failed to reach a new collective bargaining agreement.   3. A 12-year-old boy died after being shot by police in South Philadelphia. On Tuesday night, police responded to a firearm violation investigation near 18th and Johnston streets.
