President and Chief Operating Officer – Dr. Brooke Hobgood joins MRC with over a decade of experience in leadership focused on delivering efficient, client-centered services in the healthcare industry. Dr. Hobgood’s familiarity with the creation and evaluation of processes to streamline the delivery of services to clients will be instrumental to the firm’s success. She is responsible for managing the day to day operations of MRC. She earned her Medical Degree from Baylor College of Medicine and completed a residency in Anesthesiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Her leadership experience includes serving as Medical Director for an ambulatory surgery center and participating in a variety of roles within both corporate and non-profit boards.

Chief Financial Officer - Michael Mills brings a wide range of financial acumen to the MRC team. He has over 25 years of experience in acquisitions and profitability management for various document management and tech companies. More recently, Michael spent five years as CFO of Visual Edge Technology, where he shepherded the company from a print to a managed services company. A highly credentialed corporate finance and operations executive, Michael brings a comprehensive management style, deep subject-matter knowledge, and intuitive business savvy to MRC.

General Counsel - Terry Wright joins MRC with 25 years of legal practice experience. He is a certified public accountant and a licensed attorney, board certified in Tax Law and Estate Planning and Probate Law. Terry earned a J.D. from the Texas Tech University School of Law and a B.B.A. (Accounting) and M.S.A. (Taxation) from the Texas Tech University College of Business Administration. He is responsible for legal strategy and guidance for all aspects of the firm. Terry will play a key role in driving business forward at MRC with his proficiency, strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.

Chief Strategy Officer Kendra Burris joins MRC to lead investor relations initiatives and spearhead planning and implementation processes. Kendra brings extensive expertise to the position. Her experience includes serving as Chief Operating Officer, Deputy Chancellor, and Executive Chief of Staff at Texas Tech University System. Kendra's leadership resulted in strategic growth, organizational and personnel restructuring, and large-scale improvements in operational effectiveness and efficiency at Texas Tech University. With her exceptional business acumen and seasoned management skills, Kendra’s addition to the team makes an immediate impact on MRC.

Director of Oil & Gas Assets - Austin Adkins joins MRC after a decade of experience in the oil and gas industry. Austin is a Certified Professional Landman (CPL), a member of the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL), and a member of the Permian Basin Landmen’s Association (PBLA). Prior to joining MRC, Austin served as land manager for Diamondback Energy. In other previous positions, Austin gained experience working in land interests in over 35 counties including the Eagle Ford Shale, the Anadarko Basin, and the Permian Basin. A dual-degree holder and current alumni mentor for students at Texas Tech University’s Rawls College of Business, Austin is an impressive addition to the team.
