The Last Leg star Alex Brooker has addressed the rumours speculating that he is Bigfoot on The Masked Singer.

The comedian was quizzed by his co-stars Adam Hills and Josh Widdicombe on the season premiere of the Channel 4 chat show tonight (February 16).

"It can't be. I wouldn't go on telly dressed as something ridiculous," Brooker said, after being asked about Bigfoot's identity.

"But look, I know you've been talking about this. I just have to say this straight off, look at me now, I am sweating in here and I'm in a T-shirt," he added, before Widdicombe replied: "Yeah, because you're lying!"

Brooker continued: "Do you really think that I would be able to go in a costume, a massive and hairy costume? They'd open it up and there wouldn't be anything left, it'd be like the end of The Snowman."

Widdicombe and Hills then proceeded to examine the clues that point to their friend being Bigfoot, as well as sharing a message they'd received from Brooker's mum — who also suspects her son of being on the singing show.

"I've asked Alex and I'm convinced it's him on The Masked Singer," it read. "If it's not him, then I don't know my own son! I can't believe he wouldn't tell me. Every mannerism is him."

Fans will find out whether Brooker is actually behind the mask in tomorrow night's (February 17) grand final. The series' anticipated conclusion will see the three finalists — Bigfoot, Piranha and Cricket — sing one last time before being unmasked.

Last week, Air Fryer and Eiffel Tower both left the competition, with The Greatest Showman star Keala Settle and 'I Think We're Alone Now' singer Tiffany Darwish appearing from beneath the costumes.

The Masked Singer returns for the grand finale tomorrow (February 17) on ITV1 and ITVX. The Last Leg airs on Channel 4.
