Mass. 27-year-old badly hurt in Rindge motorcycle crash

May 15—A 27-year-old motorcyclist was badly hurt on Saturday afternoon in a crash with a large pickup in Rindge.

Rindge police said Douglas Tate, 60, of Rindge and Max Anderson, 27, of Ashburton, Mass., were driving west on Route 119 when they crashed. Anderson was on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, police said, and Tate was driving a Ford F-350.

Anderson was badly hurt, and had to be airlifted to a hospital. Police said while his injuries were serious, but did not appear to threaten his life.

Tate was not hurt.

The crash is still under investigation, police said.
