Mass. woman charged after pickup truck rolls over on I-95 in Seabrook

Oct. 30—State police charged a Massachusetts woman with operating after a license suspension and reckless driving after rolling a pickup truck on Interstate 95 southbound in Seabrook early Sunday morning.

According to a preliminary investigation at the scene, the 2015 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Samantha Famolare, 30, of Peabody, departed the left side of the road and struck a guardrail before rolling over just after 3 a.m. The truck came to rest in an upright position in the median in between two guardrails, according to a news release.

Famolare was brought by ambulance to Portsmouth Regional Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Troopers believe excessive speed and operator inattention are possible factors, according to the release.

The left lane of I-95 south was closed for about an hour.

A crew from New England Truck Center had to use specialized equipment to remove the truck. Department of Transportation workers inspected the guardrails.

Famolare was issued a summons to appear in the 10th Circuit Court on Dec. 22.

State police are asking anyone with information about the crash to contact Trooper Galvin at Stephen.M.Galvin@dos.nh.gov, Trooper Vetter at Cameron.S.Vetter@dos.nh.gov or by calling the New Hampshire State Police headquarters at 603- 223-4381.
