Massachusetts college lands on list of America’s most beautiful college campuses

For students looking to study with a view, there are fewer options better than this school of less than 3,000 students.

Wellesley College is the 19th most beautiful college campus in America, according to a new ranking from Travel and Leisure.

Located in Wellesley, the school is a private women’s liberal arts college with 56 departments and majors available.

“Only 12 miles west of Boston, Wellesley’s 500-acre campus is another world entirely, with pathways that meander through sprawling meadows and groves of conifers that surround tranquil Lake Waban, with 19th-century brick buildings tucked into the wooded hillsides. Several greenhouses, lush with tropical, subtropical, and desert plantings, stay green straight through the long northeastern winters,” writes Travel and Leisure.

Another New England school, Yale University also made the list.
