Massachusetts woman wins $10M on scratch ticket purchased at gas station

A Massachusetts woman had millions of reasons to indulge over the Christmas holiday after she won a massive lottery prize on a scratch ticket that she purchased at a local gas station.

Helen Cicoria, of Buzzards Bay, chose the cash option on her “$10,000,000 Cash King” prize and received a one-time payment of $6,500,000, according to the Massachusetts State Lottery.

Cicoria plans on putting some of her winnings toward home improvements and trave, the Lottery noted.

The winning ticket was bought at Speedy Mart at 2238 Cranberry Highway in West Wareham.

That store will receive a $50,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
