If you’re a fan of outdoor concerts and festivals, it’s time to get serious about planning.

Summer music season is about to begin in the Treasure Valley — and it will be a busy one.

The list is long at familiar venues such as the Ford Idaho Center Amphitheater and Outlaw Field at the Idaho Botanical Garden, which both have extensive schedules. Popular annual traditions such as Alive After Five and the Hyde Park Street Fair are back. There also are new events to check out such as the BoDo Block Party.
