Local resident Pasquale Bisogno captured footage showing the waterspout as it hovers over the water and approaches land.
A Facebook post on Mayor Vincenzo Napoli’s page reported no injuries.
Neighborhoods in the Torrione district experienced the most serious damage. According to local reports, buildings, cars, and public facilities were damaged.
