Masters of the Air actor, producer and author to host Q&A at Mighty Eighth Museum in Pooler

Masters of the Air fans will get a special opportunity to meet an actor from the show, as well as a producer and the author of the book the series is based on.
The National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force is hosting a screening of episode 5 of the Apple + TV series at 7 p.m. Friday. It will feature discussions from book author and historian Don Miller, actor Nate Mann who portrays Robert "Rosie" Rosenthal and producer Kirk Sadusi.
Due to limited seating, registration is required to attend the free event.

What is Masters of the Air?
Masters of the Air is an Apple + TV series based on the book of the same name by Don Miller. It follows the men of the 100th bomb group, nicknamed the "Bloody Hundredth" as they conduct raids on Nazi Germany. The show began airing Jan. 26 with a new episode weekly until March 15.
The show stars Austin Butler, Calum Turner and Barry Keoghan and was produced by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks.
Who were the Mighty Eighth Airmen?
The Mighty Eighth Air Force was activated in Savannah on Jan. 28, 1942 at what is now the American Legion on Bull Street. The U.S. Army Air Corps assigned seven men to form the Air Force, becoming the largest, most powerful air armada in the world by the end of World War II. 350,000 men served by the end of the war, while over 28,000 were shot, or captured as prisoners of war. 26,000 members were killed.
What is the Mighty Eighth Museum?
The National Museum of the Mighty Eighth in Pooler is the only museum in the nation dedicated to the stories of the men who served in the first iteration of the Air Force. More information can be found about the museum here.
