Match 6 Lotto jackpot ticket worth $3.74M sold in North Huntingdon

Sep. 13—A jackpot Match 6 Lotto ticket worth $3.74 million was sold Sunday at a Sheetz store in North Huntingdon, state lottery officials announced.

Lottery officials said the ticket was bought at the convenience store location on Ronda Court, near the Walmart along Route 30.

The ticket matched all six winning numbers, 22-28-36-37-46-49. The store owner earns a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Winners can be identified only after prizes are claimed and tickets validated. Match 6 prizes expire one year from the drawing date.

An employee on Monday said they were not aware the winning ticket was sold at the store and declined further comment.

Anyone holding the jackpot ticket should sign it, call lottery officials at 1-800-692-7481 or visit palottery.com to find out how to claim the prize.

More than 57,000 other Match 6 Lotto tickets also won prizes in the drawing.

The jackpot win continues a local winning streak of jackpot prizes for some area lottery players. Indiana County resident Randy Lytle won $3 million on a Monopoly 100X scratch-off ticket he bought on Memorial Day at the Giant Eagle supermarket in Ligonier.

In June, lottery officials reported a $1 million-winning scratch-off ticket was sold at a BP store in North Huntingdon, and a similar payout was won by a player at a Wilkinsburg beer distributor.

Throughout June, there were three scratch-off players in Westmoreland County who won prizes of $250,000 or more, including one worth $1 million.

In May, another $3 million scratch-off prize and two others of $100,000 or more were claimed in neighboring Fayette County, while a $1 million prize surfaced at the UPMC Mercy Gift Shop in Pittsburgh.
